Alana is a passionate nonprofit professional with over fifteen years of nonprofit experience with a focus in fundraising, board development, and program and volunteer management.
Currently, Alana serves as a Bay Area independent nonprofit consultant who works both independently and partnered with firms including Olive Grove Consulting, Blueridge Advisors, and Essex & Drake. Examples of client experience include: Family Connections, Chanticleer, San Francisco Parks Alliance, and the Andrew Leavitt Center for Social Emergency Medicine. Alana’s background and expertise is in the arts, Jewish professional service, and social justice spaces.
When Alana’s not advocating for boards or developing new fundraising strategies, she is a writer for the Red Tricycle Spoke Contributor Network (reaching 20 million parents) and spending time with her husband and their two amazing little boys.
