Zack Macdonald, Senior Counsel

Zack Macdonald is a nonprofit leader who has held senior fundraising positions with Stanford University, NatureBridge (formerly the Yosemite Institute), the Jewish Community Federation, and other well-respected Bay Area organizations over the last 24 years.

Major gift fundraising is Zack’s specialty. He has experience building successful development teams and creating philanthropic strategies that mobilize boards, funders, and other stakeholders. His expertise includes capital campaign design and execution as well as extensive work with CEOs, boards, volunteers – and of course donors.

For more than two decades, Zack has passionately served environmental, educational, community-based, health, and civic institutions.

Zack lives in Marin with his young family and has been in the Bay Area since 1991. He is a native New Yorker and a passionate baseball fan and long-time youth coach. His 1986 Fuji bicycle is his primary form of transportation.
